Chevron World Challenge Odds
THOUSAND OAKS, CA (TheSpread) – Tiger Woods will play in and host the 2011 Chevron World Challenge this week. Here is a look at the odds for each golfer in this elite event.

Oddsmakers have made Woods the favorite to win this tournament, which is played from Sherwood Country Club and features a field of 18 golfers. Woods has 11/4 odds to win. Other short odds to win are Webb Simpson (9/1) and Nick Watney (11/1).
Woods has won this event four times but he is still seeking his first victory since 2009. He is coming off a third-place finish in the Australian Open three weeks ago. It was one of three top 10’s he has this year. Woods finished second in this event last year.
Watson is ninth in the world rankings and he has finished in the top 10 in six of the last seven events he has played in. Simpson has been one of the top players in 2011 and should be comfortable playing in a competitive field.
Watney is 10th in the world rankings and he has finished in the top 5 in two of his last three tournaments. He finished 13th in this tournament last year.
The 2011 Chevron World Challenge is played at Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, California and will start on Thursday, Dec. 1 and conclude on Sunday, Dec. 4.
