Bradley wins with 200/1 odds
IRVING, TX (TheSpread) – It took one extra hole, but Keegan Bradley picked up his first career win on the PGA tour as he was victorious in the 2011 HP Byron Nelson Championship on Sunday.
Bradley defeated Ryan Palmer on the first playoff hole after both golfers finished at -3 for the tournament. In the playoff, Bradley made par despite a bad tee shot while Palmer hit his second shot into the water and made bogey.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com, Bradley had 200/1 odds to win the tournament, meaning a $100 wager on Bradley will pay out an additional $20,000.
Ryuji Imada had a one-shot lead with two holes remaining, but finished with back-to-back bogies to finish at -2 for the tournament, 1 shot out of the playoff.
