Masters 3rd Round Odds
AUGUSTA, GA (TheSpread) – The 2011 Masters is halfway complete and Rory McIlroy continues to sit in the lead, but Tiger Woods is scratching his way up the leaderboard.
McIlroy shot a 3-under 69 on Friday to get to 10-under for the tournament. He sits two shots ahead of Jason Day (-8) and three ahead of K.J. Choi and Woods.
Despite being the leader, McIlroy is not the favorite to win Masters according to online sportsbook SBGGLOBAL.com as Woods is now the favorite with 5/2 odds. McIlroy comes in with 11/4 odds while Lee Westwood has 10/1 odds and Choi and Day each have 12/1 odds.
McIlroy had just one bogey in his round to score his 69. His playing partner, Jason Day, shot an 8-under 64 on Friday to get to 8-under for the tournament.
Woods rallied on the back nine to shot a 6-under 66. He had an up and down front nine with four birdies and three bogeys, then played the back nine 5-under par.
Choi shot a 2-under 70 to get to 7-under for the tournament while Westwood shot a 5-under 67 on Friday to get to 5-under for the tournament. He is tied for seventh currently.
