Dubai Desert Classic 4th Rd. Odds
DUBAI, UAE (TheSpread) – The 2011 Omega Dubai Desert Classic has become congested at the top, but oddsmakers see Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods are the two clear favorites.
Gusting winds provided difficult conditions for most of the golfers as the leader board came back significantly. McIlroy is one of three golfers tied at the top at -8 while Woods is part of a group of seven tied for fourth at -7 for the tournament.
McIlroy and Woods have each been given 3/1 odds to win according to online sportsbook SBGGLOBAL.com while other short odds to win are Alvario Quiros (7/1), Anders Hansen (8/1), and Thomas Aiken (8/1).
McIlroy shot a 3-over 75 on Saturday while Woods shot an even par 72, but both still are in contention. Quiros posted a surprising 7-under 65 in his third round to find himself one shot off the lead.
Hansen and Aiken are the two tied with McIlroy at -8 for the tournament. Hansen shot a 1-under 71 on Saturday while Aiken posted a 2-over 74.
