Dubai Desert Classic 3rd Rd. Odds
DUBAI, UAE (TheSpread) – Two rounds are complete in the 2011 Omega Dubai Desert Classic, and Rory McIlroy still leads, but Tiger Woods is on the prowl.
McIlroy maintained his first round lead after shooting a 4-under 68 on Friday and is now at 11-under par for the tournament. McIlroy leads the field by one stroke and is ahead of Woods by four after Tiger shot a 6-under 66 on Friday.
McIlroy is the favorite to win the event according to online sportsbook SBGGLOBAL.com with 13/8 odds while other short odds to win are Woods (4/1), Sergio Garcia (11/2), and Thomas Aiken (9/1).
Aiken and Garcia are currently tied for second in the tournament at 10-under par. Both men have shot 5-under 65’s in their first and second rounds.
Woods rebounded from his 71 in the opening round by shooting a 66 on Friday to land tied for fifth for the tournament at 7-under par.
