Woods vs. Mickelson Odds
JOHNS CREEK, GA (TheSpread) – It isn’t quite the matchup it once was but most golf fans will have their eyes on Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson during the 2011 PGA Championship.

According to oddsmakers, Mickelson is favored to finish ahead of Woods in the PGA Championship. Mickelson has odds of -125 to beat Woods while Woods has odds of -105 to top Lefty.
Woods is playing in his second major championship this year. He finished fourth in the Masters this past April. Woods has won the PGA Championship four times and has four other top 10’s outside of the wins. Woods has won 14 majors in his career, but he has not won a golf tournament since 2009. Woods finished 29th at the 2001 PGA Championship, the last one played at Atlanta Athletic Club. Currently, Woods is coming off a 37th-place finish at the Bridgestone Invitational. Woods has only two top 10’s in 2011.
Mickelson won the PGA Championship back in 2005 and finished second in the last major at Atlanta Athletic Club. Mickelson owns for major championships and he has finished in the top 10 in three of his last seven majors. Mickelson has one win and five top 10’s on the year. He finished behind Woods last week at the Bridgestone Invitational and also lost to Woods in the Masters.
The 2011 PGA Championship is played at Atlanta Athletic Club in Johns Creek, Georgia and will start on Thursday, Aug. 11 and finish on Sunday, Aug. 14.
