PGA Championship Odds
JOHNS CREEK, GA (TheSpread) – The fourth and final major of the 2011 Golf Season takes place this week as the 2011 PGA Championship will be played from Atlanta Athletic Club.

According to oddsmakers Rory McIlroy is an 8/1 favorite to win his second major of the year. Other short odds to win are Lee Westwood (12/1), Luke Donald (15/1), and Tiger Woods (15/1).
McIlroy is fourth in the world rankings. He has finished in the top 10 in eight events this year, including a win in the U.S. Open. McIlroy has finished third in the last two PGA Championships.
Westwood is second in the world rankings. He has six top 10’s on the year, including two wins. Westwood has never won a major championship, and has just one top 10 in his career at the PGA Championship.
Luke Donald is on top of the world rankings. He has 12 top 10’s on the year, which includes two victories. Donald has never won a major championship. He has one top 10 in the PGA Championship in his career, which came back in 2006.
Tiger Woods is now 30th in the world rankings. He played last week for the first time in three months and finished tied for 37th. He finished fourth in the Masters this year, but was his lone finish inside 10th this year. Woods owns 14 major championships, including four PGA Championships. He placed 28th in this event last year and second in 2009. He has not finished worse than 28th in 16 of his last 17 majors.
The 2011 PGA Championship is played at Atlanta Athletic Club in Johns Creek, Georgia and will start on Thursday, Aug. 11 and finish on Sunday, Aug. 14.
