McGladrey Classic Odds
ST. SIMONS ISLAND, GA (TheSpread) – The PGA Tour heads to Georgia this week as a competitive field will contend in the 2011 The McGladrey Classic.

Oddsmakers have made Webb Simpson the favorite in this tournament with odds of 14/1. Other short odds to win are Matt Kuchar (18/1), Rickie Fowler (22/1), and Jim Furyk (22/1).
Simpson has been one of the top golfers over the last part of the season. He has finished in the top 10 in four of his last five events, which includes two victories. He placed 12th in last year’s inaugural McGladrey Classic.
Kuchar has had a bit of an up-and-down year, but he has been somewhat strong recently. He has finished in the top 25 of his last six tournaments and in 11 of his last 13. He placed 25th in this tournament last year.
Fowler is coming off a win in the Kolon Korea Open, but that was the first time he broke into the top 10 in his last five tournaments. He didn’t play in this tournament last year.
Furyk has finished in the top 25 in three of his last four tournaments, including two top 10’s. Furyk didn’t compete in this tournament last year.
The 2011 The McGladrey Classic is played at Seaside Golf Course in St. Simons Island, Georgia and will start on Thursday, Oct. 13 and conclude on Sunday, Oct. 16.
