Players Championship play suspended
PONTE VEDRA BEACH, FL (TheSpread) – The 2011 Players Championship couldn’t complete its third round on Saturday, which makes for an action-packed Sunday.

Nick Watney and Graeme McDowell currently lead the tournament at 11-under par, but both golfers have played just five holds. The pair is one shot ahead of David Toms and Steve Stricker, who sit at -10 for the tournament and are also through five holes.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bodog.com, Watney is the favorite to win with 7/2 odds while other short odds to win are Luke Donald (4/1), McDowell (4/1), and Stricker (8/1).
Donald is tied for seventh currently at -8 for the tournament. He is part of a group of five golfers at 8-under.
The clubhouse leader is currently Sean O’Hair, who shot a 5-under 67 on Saturday to finish his round at 7-under par.
The 2011 The Players Championship will be played at TPC at Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. It is schedule to complete play on Sunday. Coverage of the event can be found on NBC.
