U.S. Open Third Round Odds
BETHESDA, Maryland (TheSpread) – It looks like it may be Rory McIlroy versus the world at the 2011 U.S. Open as the youngster has a six-shot lead on the field through two rounds.

McIlroy shot a 5-under 66 on Friday to get to 11-under for the tournament, six shots ahead of Y.E. Yang. McIlroy actually was 13-under at one point, but he posted a double bogey on the final hole of his round.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bodog, McIlroy is the overwhelming favorite to win the U.S. Open with odds of 1/4 while Yang has 35/4 odds and Matt Kuchar has 20/1 odds to win.
Yang posted a solid 2-under 69 on Friday, but it still pales in comparison to what McIlroy has done. Yang is in second place by three shots and he had four birdies and two bogeys in his second round.
Kuchar is tied for third place at -2 for the tournament after shooting a 3-under 68 on Friday. Kuchar joins a group of four other players at 2-under overall.
The 2011 U.S. Open will be played at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland and continues Friday, June 17 and runs until Sunday, June 19.
