WGC Bridgestone Invitational Odds
AKRON, Ohio (TheSpread) – The WGC Bridgestone Invitational takes place this week and the field is stacked with some of the best, including Tiger Woods.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bodog, Woods has 20/1 odds to win this tournament, his first in three months. The favorite to win is Rory McIlroy, who has 12/1 odds to win while Lee Westwood and Steve Stricker each have 16/1 odds.
Woods has been dominant in this event, winning it seven times in its 12 years of existence. Woods has been on a major slump, not having played since missing the cut in the Players Championship. He has failed to win a tournament since the 2009 BMW Championship and is now 28th in the world rankings. He has two top 10’s on the year.
McIlroy is fifth in the world rankings. He has finished outside the top 20 in his last two events, but has seven top 10’s on the year. He finished ninth in this tournament last year and 68th in 2009.
Westwood is second in the world rankings. He has had a solid year with 11 top 20’s on the year and five top 10’s. Westwood placed ninth in this tournament in 2009.
Stricker is fourth in the world rankings. He has finished in the top 20 of his last nine tournaments, which also includes two victories. Stricker placed ninth in this tournament last year and sixth in 2009.
The 2011 WGC Bridgestone Invitational is played at Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio and will run from Thursday Aug. 4 through Sunday, Aug. 7.
