WGC-Bridgestone Invite 3rd Rd. Odds
AKRON, Ohio (TheSpread) – While many of the top names in the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational played par golf on Friday, Rickie Fowler found a way to jump to the top of the leaderboard.

Fowler shot a 6-under 64 on Friday to find himself at 8-under for the tournament. He is in a four-way tie for first with the likes of Adam Scott, Ryan Moore, and Keegan Bradley.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bodog, Scott and Fowler are now the favorites to win the tournament as each has 6/1 odds. Jason Day also has short odds, as he is 7/1 to win.
Scott shot an even-par 70 on the day to stay at 8-under. Day did the same, and he is one shot out of the lead at 7-under.
Tiger Woods struggled on Friday, shooting a 1-over 71. He is 1-under for the tournament and tied for 36th place. He now has 20/1 odds to win the tournament.
The 2011 WGC Bridgestone Invitational is played at Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio and will continue on Saturday, Aug. 6 and finish on Sunday, Aug. 7.
