AT&T National PGA Predictions
BETHESDA, Maryland (ATS Consultants) – The PGA Tour moves to Bethesda, Md., just outside of Washington D.C., for the AT&T National at Congressional.
Last year, they played the U.S. Open there and Rory McIlroy won his first major. Congressional last hosted the AT&T National back in 2009, but since then, the par 71 course has been bumped up 314 yards to 7,574. The field, led by Tiger Woods (he hosts the tournament), also includes K.J. Choi, Nick Watney, Jim Furyk and Hunter Mahan.

Furyk finished 3rd, 3rd and 7th in three years this tournament was held at Congressional. He finished fourth at Colonial, 13th at the Memorial and 4th at the U.S. Open (after leading the final day). He ranks 30th in the world, has made 12 of 13 cuts and ranks 4th in driving accuracy percentage.
Day has just two top tens this year and tied for 59th at the U.S. Open. But the last time he played at Congressional, he was runner-up to McIlroy at the U.S. Open. He ranks in the top 10 in driving distance and is a solid putter.
Longshot
Thompson’s best performance was at the U.S. Open, which has a similar layout to Congressional. While his driving is not the greatest, he is one of the best putters on the tour.
