Watney rallies to win CIMB Classic
KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (TheSpread) – Nick Watney put together an amazing final round to win the CIMB Classic on Sunday.
Watney shot a 10-under 61 on Sunday to get to -22 for the tournament, which put him one shot ahead of both Robert Garigus and Bo Van Pelt, who entered the day tied for the lead.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Watney had 16/1 odds to win this tournament, which means a wager of $100 on him to win will pay out an additional $1,600.
Garrigus and Van Pelt each shot a 66 on Sunday to finished the tournament at -21. Tiger Woods shot a final round 63 to get to -19 for the tournament, putting him in a tie for fourth place.
