FORT WORTH, TX (TheSpread) – This week the 2012 PGA Tour stays in Texas this week as golfers will compete in the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial.

According to oddsmakers, Matt Kuchar and Zach Johnson are the favorites to win this event, as each has 12/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Rickie Fowler (16/1) and Jason Dufner (18/1).
Johnson won this event in 2010 and set the course record in the process, as he shot a 21-under 259 to win. Johnson is 27th in the world rankings and he has finished second in two of his last three events.
Kuchar is fifth in the world rankings. He has finished in the top 15 in seven of his last eight events, which includes one win. Kuchar finished 16th in this event last year.
Fowler is 20th in the world rankings. He has finished in the top 2 in his last two events, including getting his first PGA win at the Wells Fargo Championship. Fowler finished tied for 16th in this event last year.
Dufner has been the hottest golfer on tour. He has won two of his last three tournaments to climb to 14th in the world rankings. He did miss the cut at last year’s Crowne Plaza Invitational.
