2012 Masters Odds To Win
AUGUSTA, GA (TheSpread) – The first major championship of the golf season is less than two months away. Here is a look at the odds to win the 2012 Masters.

According to oddsmakers, Tiger Woods is the favorite to win this year’s green jacket, with odds of 4/1. Other short odds to win are Rory McIlroy (7/1), Luke Donald (14/1), Phil Mickelson (14/1), and Lee Westwood (14/1).
Woods is 18th in the world rankings. He recently ended a lengthy losing streak at the end of 2011. Woods has won 14 major championships, but his last came in 2008. Woods has won four Masters in his career and he has finished sixth or better in his last seven appearances at Augusta.
McIlroy is third in the world rankings. McIlroy has one major title to his credit, the 2011 U.S. Open. He finished 15th in last year’s Masters despite having a large lead entering the final round. He has never finished in the top 10 at Augusta.
Donald sits first in the world rankings. Donald has never won a major championship in his career, but he has finished in the top 10 in three of his last six majors, including fourth in the 2011 Masters. For his career, Donald has three top 10’s in seven Masters appearances.
Westwood is second in the world rankings. He is still seeking his first major championship. Westwood has placed in the top three in five of his last nine major outings. Westwood finished second in the 2010 Masters. He has two top 10’s in 12 Masters outings.
Mickelson is 11th in the world rankings following a win last weekend. Mickelson has won four majors and three Masters. His last Masters win came in 2010. He has finished in the top 10 in 13 of his 19 Masters appearances.
The 2012 Masters is played at August National and will begin on Thursday, April 5 and finish up on Sunday, April 8. For complete odds for each golfer at the event, see below.
