McIlroy now the PGA favorite
KIAWAH ISLAND, SC (TheSpread) – The 2012 PGA Championship is stuck in the third round due to poor weather, but things are looking up for Rory McIlroy.

Play was stopped about midway through the leaders’ rounds on Saturday, with the final pairing still on the seventh hole. Play is expected to be complete on Sunday as the round will resume in the early morning.
McIlroy finds himself tied for the lead at -6 overall with Vijay Singh. McIlroy is currently 4-under through 9 for this third round while Singh is 2-under through 7.
Tiger Woods has struggled mightily in round three. He is 3-over through 7 and sitting at -1 overall for the tournament.
According to oddsmakers, McIlroy has 2/1 odds to win the tournament, while Singh has 6/1 odds and Woods now has 12/1 odds. Adam Scott has 3/1 odds to win.
Scott is in third place at -5 overall. He is currently 4-under through 9 holes. Scott nearly won the British Open last month before falling apart with a big lead late in the final round.
