Updated PGA Championship Odds
KIAWAH ISLAND, SC (TheSpread) – The first round of the 2012 PGA Championship is complete and plenty of big names are in the running.

With the first round complete, Carl Pettersson is in the lead by one shot, as he posted a 6-under 66 on Thursday. Pettersson is a multiple-time winner on the PGA Tour but he has never claimed a major.
Among the group at -5 overall is Rory McIlroy, while pre-tournament favorite, Tiger Woods sits at -3 after shooting a 69 on Thursday.
According to oddsmakers, Woods and McIlroy are now the favorites to win this tournament, as each has 11/2 odds to win. Adam Scott comes in with 9/1 odds to win.
Scott sits at -4 for the tournament, in a tie for fifth after Thursday. He is coming off his collapse in the final round of the British Open, as he still is seeking his first major championship.
The PGA Championship continues on Friday, August 10 and will run through Sunday, August 12 from the Kiawah Island-Ocean Course in Kiawah Island, South Carolina. For complete odds for each golfer to win the PGA Championship, see below.
