McGladrey Classic Odds
SEA ISLAND, GA (TheSpread) – The PGA Tour is in Georgia this week for the playing of the McGladrey Classic. Here is a look at the odds to win this event.
This event is in just its third year of existence. According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Zach Johnson is the favorite to win this tournament, as he has 12/1 odds to win. Other short odds to win are Jason Day and Jim Furyk, who each have 14/1 odds.
Johnson is 16th in the world rankings. He has placed 15th or better in his last two events and has two victories this year. He missed the cut at this event last year.
Jason Day is 27th in the world rankings. He is coming off a fourth-place finish last week. It was his first top 10 in five events. Day is winless this year and he didn’t compete in this event last year.
Furyk is 23rd in the current world rankings. He has placed 13th or better in his last three tournaments, but is still seeking his first win since 2010. Furyk finished 11th in this event last year.
