DUBLIN, OH (ATS Consultants) – The PGA Tour moves to Dublin, Ohio for the Memorial Tournament, a tune-up for the U.S. Open.
This is the course built by Jack Nicklaus, who has been the host for the tournament since 1978. This is regarded as one of the most beautiful stops on tour and in the top half in terms of difficulty. Seven of the world’s top 10, including numbers one and two Luke Donald and Rory McIlroy, are coming with Lee Westwood, Jason Dufner and Matt Kuchar as the only three missing.

Masters champion Bubba Watson is playing for only the second time since his triumph at Augusta. Steve Stricker is the defending champ while Tiger Wood has won the tournament four times including his last win in 2009.
Rose won this thing in 2010 and does have a fourth place finish here in 2004 and a T2 in 2008. He was a very impressive second place last week to Luke Donald at the BMW Championship. He has six top 10s already this year and is fourth on TOUR in greens in regulation.
Fowler has four straight top 10s and three top 5s during that span. Other than Jason Duffner, he might be the hottest golfer around and the most colorful. He finished second in 2009 at Muirfield. He is hitting around 75% of his greens in regulation for those four events that he made top 10.
Longshot
Curtis has four straight top 15s in the U. S. before a T68 at Wentworth last week. He is eight on the TOUR in greens hit and first in Strokes Gained-Putting. That’s perfect for this course. He did finish 69-67 at this even last year to wind up T13. The 2003 British Open champ does have a win at the Valero Texas Open, a T-13 at the Zurich Classic, a T-5 at Wells Fargo and a T-2 at the Players in his last four starts on the PGA Tour.
