AVONDALE, LA (TheSpread) – The 2012 Masters Champion returns to action this week as Bubba Watson competes in the 2012 Zurch Classic of New Orleans.

Despite winning his last event, Watson is not the favorite to win this event. He has 14/1 odds to win this week, while the favorite is Luke Donald, who has 12/1 odds. Keegan Bradley is the other favorite, with 18/1 odds.

Donald is second in the world rankings. He has finished outside the top 30 in his last two tournaments and has finished outside the top 30 in five of his last seven events. Donald finished eighth in this event last year.

Watson is the defending champion of this event and he is now fourth in the world rankings following his win in The Masters. Watson has finished fourth or better in his last three events and finished in the top 20 of his last 11 tournaments.

Bradley is 20^th in the world rankings right now. He has finished in the top 30 in his last 14 events. He also has two top 10’s in his last three tournaments.
