According to oddsmakers, Matt Kuchar is the favorite to win this event, as he has 10/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Hunter Mahan (12/1) and Jim Furyk (15/1).
Kuchar is currently ninth in the world rankings. He has placed in the top 10 in his last two events and has finished at least 27th or better in his last seven tournaments, which includes a win in The Players Championship.
Mahan is 13th in the world rankings. Mahan has placed in the top 10 in his last three tournaments and in four of his last five. Mahan has two victories this year.
Furyk is a two-time winner of this event. He claimed the victory in 2006 and 2007. He currently sits 34th in the world rankings and has been struggling as of late. He has placed outside the top 30 in his last three events. He has four top 10’s on the year but is without a victory.
