According to oddsmakers, both Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy are the favorites to win this tournament, as each has 10/1 odds. Dustin Johnson and Luke Donald each have 10/1 odds to win this event.
Woods won this event back in 2006 and placed 11th in 2010. He is currently third in the world rankings. Woods placed 38th in last week’s Barclays event. He has placed in the top 11 in five of his last eight events.
McIlroy is first in the world rankings. McIlroy is coming off a win in the PGA Championship and he placed 24th in last week’s event. He didn’t play in the event last year but took 37th in 2010.
Johnson is 16th in the world rankings. He placed third in last week’s tournament and he has placed in the top 10 in two of his last four events. He placed 42nd in this event last year and 57th in 2010.
Donald is second in the world rankings. He took 10th at The Barclays and has placed in the top 16 in eight of his last 10 events. Donald took third in this event last year and second in 2010.
