DUBLIN, Ohio (TheSpread) – The 2012 Memorial Tournament is next up on the PGA Tour and the event features a number of the top players in the world. Here is a look at the odds for this event.

According to oddsmakers, Luke Donald is the favorite to win this event as he has 9/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Rory McIlroy (12/1), Phil Mickelson (16/1) and Tiger Woods and (16/1).
Donald is No. 1 in the world rankings following his win in the BMW PGA Championship last week. He has now placed in the top 6 in five of his last seven events. He placed seventh in this event last year.
McIlroy is second in the world rankings. He is struggling as of late, missing the cut in his last two tournaments and placing 40th in the Masters. He has placed in the top 10 of this tournament the last two years.
Mickelson is 12th in the world rankings. He has finished in the top 10 in three of his last five events and hasn’t finished worse than 26th in his last six tournaments. He placed 13th in this event last year and fifth in 2010.
Woods has won this event four times. The last title came in 2009. He is currently ninth in the world rankings but has placed 40th or worse in his last three tournaments. He placed 19th in this tournament in 2010.
The 2012 The Memorial Tournament takes place from Muirifield Village Golf Course in Dublin, Ohio. and will begin on Thursday, May 31 and conclude on Sunday, June 3.
