Second Round U.S. Open Odds
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (TheSpread) – The 2012 U.S. Open has completed its first round and pre-tournament favorite, Tiger Woods, is right in the mix.

According to oddsmakers, Woods is the favorite to win the U.S. Open, as he now has 8/5 odds to win following a 1-under 69 on Thursday. Other short odds to win now are Justin Rose (8/1), and Matt Kuchar (15/1).
Woods played a very steady round, shooting the 69. He kept the ball in the fairway all round and made mostly pars while making a few key birdie putts down the stretch. He is tied for second place and three shots off the leader, Michael Thompson, who posted a 66 on Thursday. Thompson now has 20/1 odds to win this tournament.
Rose joins Woods in a tie for second place at -1 overall while Kuchar finds himself in a tie for seventh place at Even par after shooting an even-round 70. Both Rose and Kuchar have yet to claim a major championship.
The U.S. Open continues on Friday, June 15 and will run through Sunday, June 17 from the Olympic Club-Lake Course in San Francisco, California. For complete odds for each golfer to win the U.S. Open, see below.
