This event is in just its third year of existence. According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Luke Donald is favored to win this tournament, as he has 10/1 odds to win. Other short odds to win are Justin Rose (12/1), Dustin Johnson (16/1) and Lee Westwood (16/1).
Donald is third in the world rankings. He has come in third place in his last two tournaments and has two wins on the year. He placed third in this event back in 2010.
Rose is fifth in the world rankings. He has placed sixth or better in his last two tournaments and has one win this year. He placed seventh in this tournament a year ago.
Johnson is 15th in the world rankings. He has placed in the top 10 in four of his last five tournaments. He did not play in this tournament last year.
Westwood is fourth in the world rankings. He has placed outside the top 10 in three of his last four events. He finished second in this event in 2010 and 13th last year.
