According to oddsmakers, both Jason Dufner and Webb Simpson are the favorites in this event, as each has 12/1 odds to win this tournament, while Carl Pettersson has 18/1 odds to win.

Dufner is ninth in the world rankings. He has two wins this year and has placed in the top 10 in five of his last eight events. Dufner missed the cut in this tournament last year and placed 34^th back in 2010.

Simpson is the defending champion of this tournament. He is currently fifth in the world rankings, but he has missed the cut in three of his last six events. Simpson did win the U.S. Open this year, his lone victory of the season.

Pettersson won this event back in 2008 and he also finished fourth in last year’s tournament. Pettersson is 32^nd in the world rankings and coming off a third-place finish in the PGA Championship. It was his first top 10 in nine events.
