FedEx Cup Playoff Odds
(TheSpread) – The 2013 FedEx Cup Playoffs are set to get started this week. Here is a look at the odds to win this year’s championship.
The FedEx Cup Playoffs consist of four tournaments. The first event is The Barcleys, which will consist of the top 125 players in the FedEx Cup standings. From there, the top 100 will play in the Deutsche Bank Championship. Then, the top 70 reach the BMW Championship. Finally, the top 30 will play for the title in the Tour Championship. According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Tiger Woods is the favorite to win the FedEx Cup, as he has 3/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Phil Mickelson (8/1), Brandt Snedeker (10/1) and Matt Kuchar (10/1).
Woods won this playoff in 2007 and 2009. He is the only two-time winner. He has won three of the tournaments in the playoffs in his career. Woods is currently No. 1 in the world rankings and he has five victories in 2013. Woods is the current FedEx Cup standings leader by 766 points over Kuchar.
Mickelson has never won the FedEx Cup, but he has won two tournament in the FedExCup playoffs. Mickelson is No. 2 in the world rankings. He has three victories this year. Mickelson is fourth in the FedEx Cup standings, 893 points out of first.
Snedeker is the defending playoff winner and he has picked up a win in the Tour Championship. Snedeker is No. 7 in the world rankings and he has two victories in 2013. Snedeker is third in the point standings, 841 points out of first.
Kuchar has never won the playoffs, but he does own a win in The Barclays. Kuchar is No. 6 in the current world rankings. He has picked up two wins this year. Kuchar is second in the point standings, 766 points out of first.
