Simpson is sitting 19th in the current world rankings. He is coming off a fifth-place finish in his last event and is winless on the year. He has placed in the top 10 of this event the last two years.
Bubba Watson is 17th in the world rankings. He is coming off a fourth-place finish at the last event. He is winless on the year with just three top 10s. Watson has not played in this tournament in recent years.
