Thompson gets first PGA victory
PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL (TheSpread) – Michael Thompson picked up his first PGA Tour victory on Sunday, as he held off Geoff Ogilvy to win the Honda Classic.
Thompson shot just a 1-under 69 on Sunday, but it was enough to finish the tournament at -9 overall, which was two shots of Ogilvy, who also shot a 69 on Sunday.
