Points wins Houston Open
HUMBLE, TX (TheSpread) – D.A. Points won on the PGA Tour for the second time, as he claimed the Shell Houston Open title on Sunday.
Points shot a 6-under 66 on Sunday, finishing the tournament 16-under overall, which was one shot better than Henrik Stenson and Billy Horschel, who each finished -15 overall after each shot a 66 on Sunday as well.
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Points had 250/1 odds to win this tournament, which means a $100 wager on him to win will pay out an additional $25,000.
Dustin Johnson shot a 7-under 65 on Sunday to make a run at the lead, but wound up in a tie for fourth place at -14 overall.
