Stenson wins TOUR/FedEx Titles
ATLANTA, GA (TheSpread) – Henrik Stenson ran away from the field in the TOUR Championship, winning the tournament by 3 shots and claiming the FedEx Cup in the process.
Stenson finished the tournament at 13-under par after shooting a 2-under 68 on Sunday. He cruised to the win thanks to the first two rounds, where he went 10-under par. He finished three shots ahead of Jordan Spieth and Steve Stricker for the event.
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Stenson had 16/1 odds to win this tournament, which means a wager of $100 on him to win will pay out an additional $1,600.
The win for Stenson earned him the four-week long playoff championship, the FedEx Cup. He finished ahead of Tiger Woods for the title thanks to winning two of the four playoff events.
