CHARLOTTE, NC (TheSpread) – Derek Ernst shocked the golfing world on Sunday, as he won the Wells Fargo Championship in a competitive field.

According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, the rookie, Ernst, had 300/1 odds to win this event, which means a wager of $100 on him to win will pay out an additional $30,000.
