Presidents Cup Results
DUBLIN, OH (TheSpread) – Rain couldn’t keep the 2013 Presidents Cup from ending on Sunday, as the United State teams once again defeated the International team.
The United States team entered individual match play in a dominant 14-8 lead, so the U.S. didn’t need much success to win the Cup. The International team put up a good fight late, but ultimately the United States got the win, 18.5-15.5.
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, the United States had a money line of -300 to win this event, which means a wager of $300 on the U.S. to win will pay out an additional $100.
The honor of actually winning the cup went to Tiger Woods. It was his hard-fought 1-up victory over Richard Sterne that locked up the championship for the United States, giving them their fifth straight win in the event.
