Updated British Open Odds
EAST LOTHIAN, Scotland (TheSpread) – The 2013 British Open is down to its final round and Lee Westwood finds himself with a two-shot lead.
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Westwood joins Tiger Woods as the favorites to win, as each has 2/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Hunter Mahan and Adam Scott, who each have 7/1 odds.
Westwood was one of the few golfers to shoot under par on Saturday, as he posted a 1-under 70 to put himself at -3 overall for the tournament. He has a two-shot lead on Woods and Mahan and is seeking his first major championship.
Woods played with Westwood on Saturday and even held the lead at times during the round, but ended up with a 1-over 72. Woods sits at -1 overall for the tournament. He has never won a major without at least a share of the lead after 54 holes.
Mahan had a tremendous round. He came in early with a 3-under 68, which put him at -1 overall. From there, Mahan got to watch the field fall back to him. Mahan is seeking his first major championship.
