Updated Presidents Cup Odds
DUBLIN, OH (TheSpread) – The 2013 Presidents Cup wasn’t able to complete much play on Friday, but the United States is still holding on to a slim lead over the Internationals.
Day 2 saw rain keep four of the six foursomes matches not get completed. Just two points were scored on the day, one point for each team, giving the U.S. a 4.5-3.5 lead entering Saturday.
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, the United States is even more of a favorite to win this event, as they now have odds of -550 to prevail, while the International team has a money line of +450. A tie has odds of +1400 to take place.
Friday’s action saw Phil Mickelson & Keegan Bradley pick up a 4&3 win over Jason Day & Graham DeLaet for the U.S., while Ernie Els & Brendon de Jonge beat Bill Haas and Hunter Mahan, 4&3, for the International team. In the other matches, the U.S. leads two by scores up 3-up, while the International team leads one match, 1-up and another, 4-up.
The Presidents Cup continues on Saturday with the conclusion of the foursomes matches. The day is schedule to have five fourball and five additional foursomes matches take place as well. The event runs through Sunday from Muirfield Village Golf Course in Dublin, Ohio. For updated odds to win, see below.
