WGC-Bridgestone Invitational Odds
AKRON, Ohio (TheSpread) – The WGC-Bridgestone Invitational will be a good warmup for next week’s PGA Championship. Here is a look at the odds to win this WGC event.
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Tiger Woods is the favorite to win this week, as he has 9/2 odds. Other short odds to win are Phil Mickelson (14/1) and Adam Scott (18/1).
Woods is a seven-time winner of this tournament, having last won in 2009. Woods is tops in the world rankings and coming off a sixth-place finish at the British Open a few weeks back. He has four wins this year.
Mickelson has never won this tournament, but he is coming off back-to-back wins, including the British Open, and is up to second in the world rankings. Mickelson has placed third or better in five of his last seven tournaments.
Adam Scott won this tournament back in 2011. He is currently fifth in the world rankings and coming off a third-place finish in the British Open. Scott has one win this year, which was The Masters.
