Woods dominates Bridgestone Invite
AKRON, Ohio (TheSpread) – Tiger Woods truly looked like the Tiger of old this week, as he won the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational by seven shots on Sunday.
Woods took control of this stacked tournament on Friday, when he posted a 9-under 61. He never trailed from there and was not really challenged, finished at -15 overall for the tournament after shooting a 70 on Sunday. Keegan Bradley and Henrik Stenson finished tied for second at 8-under par overall
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Woods had 9/2 odds to win this tournament entering the week, which means a wager of $100 on him to win will pay out an additional $450.
Bradley shot a 67 on Sunday to climb to second place while Stenson posted a 70. Three golfers finished tied for fourth at 6-under par.
