Johnson wins WGC event
SHANGHAI (TheSpread) – Dustin Johnson had a great weekend of golf, as he found himself the winner of the WGC-HSBC Champions event in Shanghai.
Johnson shot a 6-under 66 on Sunday, which was the third time he shot a 66 or better this weekend, to finish the event at -24 overall, three shots better than the closest competition.
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Johnson had 33/1 odds to win this race, which means a wager of $100 on him to win will pay out an additional $3,300
Ian Poulter placed second for the tournament at 21-under par after shooting a 66 on Sunday. Graeme McDowell also had a 66 on Sunday to finish at -20 overall and in third place.
