British Open Final Round Odds
HOYLAKE, England (TheSpread) – The 2014 British Open seems all but finished as Rory McIlroy is dominating the field.
According to oddsmakers from BetDSI, McIlroy is the overwhelming favorite to win this tournament, as he has 1/15 odds while Rickie Fowler has 20/1 odds and Sergio Garcia has 28/1 odds.
McIlroy is at -16 for the tournament after shooting a 68 on Saturday. McIlroy saw his lead disappear to a tie at one point in the round, but eagles on No. 16 and No. 18 changed the tune of the tournament. McIlroy is looking to win his first British Open and third major championship.
Fowler posted a four-under 68 to get to -10 for the tournament. He is alone in second place by one shot and will join McIlroy in the final round. He is seeking his first major championship.
Garcia posted a 3-under 69 on Saturday to get to -9 for the tournament. He is tied with Dustin Johnson for third right now. Garcia is also seeking his first major.
