Bubba wins second Masters
AUGUSTA, GA (TheSpread) – Bubba Watson showed the experience of being a past Masters champion on Sunday, claiming his second green jacket by winning the 2014 Masters.
Watson had a strong final round, shooting a 3-under 69 to finish the Masters at -8 overall, three shots ahead of Jonas Blixt and Jordan Spieth for the championship.
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Watson had 25/1 odds to win this weekend’s major, which means a $100 wager on him to prevail will pay out an additional $2,500.
Spieth started strong but had back-to-back bogeys on holes No. 8 and No. 9, which seemed to turn the day around, as Watson birdied those holes and never looked back. Spieth finished with an even-par 72 on the day while Blixt shot a 1-under 71.
