ORLANDO, FL (TheSpread) – Tiger Woods is back in action this week for the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Here is a look at the odds for this golf tournament.
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Woods is the favorite to win, as he has 13/2 odds. Other short odds to win are Bubba Watson (14/1), Justin Rose (14/1) and Adam Scott (16/1).
Woods is an 8-time winner of this event and the two-time defending champion. Woods is No. 1 in the world rankings, but he is struggling in 2014, having yet cracked the top 20 in any of his four tournaments.
Watson is 12th in the world rankings. He has had a strong 2014 thus far, placing in the top 10 in his last four events with one win and two runner-ups. He placed 14th in this tournament last year and fourth two years ago.
Rose is sixth in the world rankings. He has competed in four events this year and has one top 10. He placed 15th in this event in 2012 and was the runner-up in 2013.
Scott is second in the world rankings. He has four tournaments this year, placing in the top 12 in three of them. He has not played in this tournament in recent years.
