BMW Championship Picks
CHERRY HILLS VILLAGE, CO (ATSConsultants) – The 2014 BMW Championship tees off this morning. Here are some suggested golfers to consider for this tournament.
According to oddsmakers from BetDSI, Rory McIlroy is the clear favorite to win this event, as he has 9/2 odds. Other short odds to win are Adam Scott (10/1) and Jason Day (14/1).
Here are some golfers we like to contend for the title this weekend:
McIlroy can really turn things up this week as he looks to win the FedEx Cup. He is coming off a strong outing last week, and in a low field of just 70 golfers, he is primed to win this weekend. McIlroy won this event back in 2012 and with his recent string of wins, it is hard to see anyone else coming out on top.
Day is also coming off a strong showing last week, though he couldn’t find the right formula on Monday to win. Day is sixth in the world rankings and he has placed seventh or better the last two weeks. He placed fourth in this event last year and has been stepping up his game in big events at the tail end of 2014. Day is a strong play for this event.
Live Long Shot
Stadler has been consistent as of late, making the cut in eight of his last nine events, including a runner-up finish in Europe. Having competed in the first three FedEx Cup events last year should help with his experience this week. He is looking to build off a 16th-place finish last week and a win would do huge things for his career. Look for Stadler to be focused and give his best this weekend, which could turn into a massive payout for you.
