FedEx St. Jude Classic Picks
MEMPHIS, TN (ATS CONSULTANTS) – The 2014 FedEx St. Jude Classic begins play on Thursday. Here are a few picks to consider for this golf tournament.
According to oddsmakers from BetDSI, Dustin Johnson is the favorite to win this weekend’s tournament, as he has 14/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Phil Mickelson (16/1) and Lee Westwood (18/1).
Here are some golfers to consider:
Johnson won this tournament two years and comes into the event ranked 15th in the world rankings. He has placed in the top 10 five times in 2014, but is seeking his first win of the year. With the field being somewhat light on overall competition, Johnson is a good golfer to place your bet on. His talent should make him a strong contender this weekend.
Casey has been pretty solid as of late, placing in the top 20 in four of his last five events. Casey is seeking his first win of 2014, but has been in the mix in most events he has played in. Again, with the field not being ultra-competitive, a consistent golfer like Casey should have a shot to win on Sunday if he can put a strong round together.
Holmes has struggled since his win in the Wells Fargo Championship, but he has had a strong 2014 season otherwise. Look for him to get back on track this week. He has finished inside the top 10 in five of his last eight events. Holmes finished 19th in this event in 2012 and has improved a great deal since then. Look for him to be a strong contender this weekend.
