The Tour Championship Odds
ATLANTA, GA (TheSpread) – The final 30 in the FedEx Cup standings will compete in The Tour Championship this week. Here is a look at the odds to win this event.
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv Rory McIlroy is favored to win this week, as he has 4/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Adam Scott (10/1) and Rickie Fowler (11/1).
McIlroy is still No. 1 in the world rankings and he has placed eighth or better the last two weeks. He has finished in the top 10 in five of his last six events, which includes three wins. He placed 10th in this event back in 2012.
Scott won this event back in 2006. Scott is second in the world rankings. He has placed 16th or better in nine straight events, including one victory. He placed 14th in this tournament a year ago.
Fowler is 11th in the world rankings and coming off a great summer. He placed in the top 5 of all four majors this year and currently has placed eighth or better in seven of his last eight events.
