Travelers Championship Picks
CROMWELL, CT (ATS CONSULTANTS) – The 2014 PGA Travelers Championship begins play on Thursday. Here are a few picks to consider for this golf tournament.
According to oddsmakers from BetDSI, Bubba Watson is favored to win the event, as he has 23/2 odds. Other short odds to win are Matt Kuchar (25/2), Jason Day (14/1) and Dustin Johnson (14/1).
Here are a few golfers to consider:
Kuchar comes into the event as one of the top-ranked players in the world and he finished 12th in the U.S. Open last week. Kuchar already has one win on the year and seven top 10s. He has been one of the most consistent contenders on tour all year and he should have no problem contending for a win this week.
Compton is coming off the performance of his life, placing second at the U.S. Open last weekend. The man who has dealt with two heart transplants has had an impressive 2014 and is quickly moving up the world rankings. He has three top 10s this year and seems to be hitting his stride. With long odds to win, look for Compton to build off last week’s showing and be in the mix come Sunday.
