Noh gets first PGA victory
AVONDALE, LA (TheSpread) – Seung-yul Noh battled some harsh winds but still found a way to get his first PGA win on Sunday, claiming the Zurich Classic title.
In a tournament that was low scoring, Noh ended up shooting just a 1-under 71 on Sunday, but that was still enough to win by two shots, as he was -19 for the tournament.
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Noh had 100/1 odds to win this weekend’s event, which means a $100 wager on him to prevail will pay out an additional $10,000.
Andrew Svoboda and Robert Streb ended up tied for second at -17 overall. Svoboda posted a 3-under 69 on Sunday while Streb shot a 2-under 70. Robert Garrigus had the big final round, shooting an 8-under 64 to jump to -14 overall and in a tie for fifth.
