2014 Masters Free Picks
AUGUSTA, GA (ATS CONSULTANTS) – The first major championship of the year gets started this morning. Here are some picks to consider for the 2014 Masters.
According to oddsmakers from BetDSI, Rory McIlroy and Adam Scott are the co-favorites to win, as each had 9/1 odds. The other short odds to win are Phil Mickelson (12/1) and Jason Day (14/1).
Here are our predictions for this weekend’s tournament.
Scott is the defending champion of this event and is currently second in the world rankings. He has placed in the top 10 in the Masters the last three years and has finished in the top five in three of his last four major events. Getting the win last year has seemingly opened up the next level of his game.
Day is fourth in the world rankings and seeking his first major championship victory. He has been battling an injury to his thumb, but is coming off a win in his last event and was third at last year’s Masters and second in 2011. He has finished in the top 10 in three of the last four major championship events.
Every is making his debut in The Masters, but he comes in on a nice roll. Currently ranked 42nd in the world, Every won his last event a few weeks ago and he has finished in the top 10 in three of his last four events. He has a total of four top 10s on the year and has missed just one cut. Every appears to be ready to compete for a major championship and his long odds could lead to a big payout.
