Watson takes three-shot lead
AUGUSTA, GA (TheSpread) – The 2014 Masters is halfway complete and Bubba Watson has pulled himself away from the field.
Watson fired off a 4-under 68 on Friday to get to -7 for the tournament. He is three shots ahead of the rest of the field as he looks to win his second Masters in three years. John Senden is the lone golfer in second at -4.
According to oddsmakers from BetDSI, Watson is the clear favorite to win, as he has 3/2 odds. The other short odds to win are Adam Scott (5/1) and Jordan Spieth (12/1).
Scott opened the day at -3 and found himself 3-over for his round early on Friday. However, he regrouped and got his way back to -3 by the end of the day, finishing with a 72 for his second round. He is in a four-way tie for third.
Spieth is also at -3 for the tournament after shooting a 2-under 70 on Friday. Spieth is appearing in his first Masters and is just 20 years old.
