WGC-Bridgestone Invitational Odds
AKRON, Ohio (TheSpread) – The 2014 WGC-Bridgestone Invitational tees off this week and features all the best in golf. Here is a look at the odds to win this event.
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Rory McIlroy is the clear favorite to win, as he has 6/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Adam Scott (12/1), Tiger Woods (12/1) and Justin Rose (16/1).
McIlroy is second in the world rankings and coming off a win in the British Open two weeks ago. He has nine top 10s on the year and two victories to his credit. He finished fifth in this event in 2012 and 27th in 2013.
Scott won this tournament back in 2011. He is currently No. 2 in the world rankings. He has placed in the top 10 in his last four events, including one win. He has seven top 10s on the year.
Woods is an eight-time champion of this event and the defending champion. Woods has had a rough 2014, as he has dealt with injuries all year. He has yet to crack the top 20 in an event this year. He is currently 10th in the world rankings.
Rose is fourth in the world rankings. He has six top 10s and two victories this year. He was 17th in this event last year and fifth in 2012.
